LED phototherapy in Tenerife: rejuvenate and repair your skin with the power of light

What is it and what is it for?

Photocare is a SORISA equipment designed for the practice of comprehensive facial aesthetic treatments, based on the photoporation technique, in action combined with cosmetics, obtaining a significant improvement in the quality and appearance of the skin.

It is indicated in the treatment of:

  • Flaccidity
  • Anti-aging/Wrinkles and fine lines
  • Pigmentations
  • Skin hydration
  • Acne

What is Phototherapy?

Photocare achieves a phototherapy effect, whereby through the visible light of the LEDs it favors cell metabolism and produces an important stimulation of ATP (the main energy molecule of the cell) increasing the energy capacity of the cell that at the dermal level manifests itself with increased synthesis of collagen and elastic fibers. This process involves an increase in the repairing metabolism of cells and improves the condition of the skin in general.

What advantages do tricolor LEDs offer in skin rejuvenation treatments?

The combination of tricolour LEDs allows for greater selectivity of treatments and the depth at which action is desired: it improves acne symptoms, reduces the size and depth of fine lines (wrinkles) and progressively attenuates blemishes.

What is the gel mask that is applied during the session for?

SORISA offers an innovative way to apply an active ingredient to the skin. It is a mask with a geloid consistency with embedded active ingredients that implies greater comfort in the application and removal of the cosmetic. At Clínica Bajo we have 5 different types of masks to carry out the corresponding treatment in a differentiated way.

What effect does it produce?

Light allows active ingredients to be carried and biostimulate the skin, while masks will have the effects corresponding to the cosmetics they incorporate.

What does a session consist of?

In our Aesthetic Medicine center in Tenerife, as in any facial treatment, we will start with a cleansing of the area, then we will apply a gel mask and we will finish with another combined exposure of the gel mask with light.

How long does a session last?

A Photocare session usually lasts around 50 minutes taking into account the preparation time and all the steps involved in its different programs.

How many sessions are necessary?

Significant results can be seen in the first sessions, thanks to the combined action of the techniques described above. In general, treatments of 12 sessions on average are recommended, which will obtain highly satisfactory results. Depending on each case, cycles of 6 sessions are recommended to maintain the effect.

Is the treatment safe?

As long as it is not applied in any contraindication situation, any treatment with Photocare is safe and reliable.

Is the treatment painful?

The treatment is not painful, at most you can feel some warmth if you get too close to the treatment screens.
