Invisible orthodontics has gained all the prominence in recent years, and no wonder. This revolution is helping many people to solve oral problems and improve aesthetics very effectively and comfortably.

It is a step forward compared to traditional braces, which although it is true that it is a more economical and equally efficient method, it is also true that it does not offer the great advantages and comforts that invisible orthodontics do. At Clínica Bajo we are faithful defenders of progress and avant-garde treatments, so today we want to delve into those benefits that we find in invisible orthodontics that is so much talked about.

The benefits of invisible orthodontics compared to other treatments

This type of orthodontics works by means of splints that are custom-made for each patient, previously studying what the progress will be over the weeks. The technique works with technological advances, since a previous study allows us to recreate the entire process and, of course, the final result.

In addition to its effectiveness, the treatment is comfortable because being invisible does not mean any change in our appearance, unlike the remarkable braces. Splints are made with materials derived from silicone, so they are really comfortable, do not cause wounds in the mouth due to friction and, as we have said, it is practically imperceptible.

On the other hand, splints are not fixed but must be removed at specific times (to eat, for example). Of course, for it to be an effective treatment they must be in place most of the time. If you are thinking of getting orthodontics to improve your smile, we can’t think of a better time than now. At Clínica Bajo we have a specialist team who will be able to assess your specific case to offer you the best treatment.
