Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide that is present in the connective tissues of the skin. It is a natural, biodegradable and resorbable product that does not require infiltrative anaesthesia, only topical anaesthesia.

Facial mesotherapy
Facial Mesotherapy consists of dermal infiltration of solutions that stimulate collagen synthesis, hydrate the skin and maintain a natural balance.
This treatment uses injectable nutrients to rejuvenate the skin. The products used in facial mesotherapy are diverse and at Clínica Bajo we will choose the right one for each skin type.
Depending on the need to stimulate or moisturise, we will use products with amino acids, vitamins with or without hyaluronic acid, or only hyaluronic acid.
Each skin type must be assessed beforehand and the most suitable product chosen. The results will vary according to the patient, but in two or three sessions a visible improvement can be seen.
The results are very long-lasting and are intensified if mesotherapy is combined with other treatments such as peeling, fillers and LED.
Mesotherapy is also widely used on the body to eliminate cellulite and combat localised fat.
What does facial mesotherapy consist of?
During the facial mesotherapy treatment, we inject a cocktail of substances composed of hyaluronic acid, vitamins (A, B, C, E, K), minerals… into the area that the patient wishes to treat: face, neck or neckline by means of micro-injections.
To avoid any discomfort that may be caused by the needle pricks, we first apply an anaesthetic ointment. The treatment does not require hospitalisation or rest and the patient can resume their normal activities when they leave the consultation room.
